About the title
A YAK-130 military aircraft of the Lida Assault Aviation Base crashed on May 19, 2021, in Baranovichi. The crew — flight commander Major Andrei Nichiporchik and pilot Lieutenant Nikita Kukonenko — was performing a training flight when they noticed a technical malfunction. Before their deaths, the pilots managed to steer the plane toward a vacant lot between apartment buildings and private houses. Just over a minute passed from the onset of the emergency to the crash. During that minute, the two pilots relive their lives — each his own, filled with joyful and sad moments, love and disappointment, events that shaped their characters.
