About the series
In a field near a small village in the Oderbruch region on the German-Polish border, the drained bodies of 248 murder victims are discovered. The investigation is led by Inspector Stanisław Zając from Poland, as well as Commissioner Roland Voigt and former police officer Maggie Krieg from Germany, who both grew up in these parts. The investigators' personal stories intertwine with the terrible discovery, and the secrets of Oderbruch are brought into the open.
