About the title
The film takes place in present-day Italy, Russia and Poland. The girlfriend of a young Italian man named Angelo unexpectedly enters a convent. He follows her, taking a job at a large energy company, hoping that she will change her mind and they can be happy together. The young man has no idea that a serious trial awaits him — not only of his feelings, but of his faith.
