About the title
The gap between social classes in Mexico becomes increasingly pronounced. A high-society wedding is interrupted by a group of armed, violent rioters who are part of an even larger uprising of the destitute, and who take the guests hostage. Mexico's armed forces use the unrest as a pretext to establish a military dictatorship in the country.
