About the title
Günther, found in a German forest at the age of four, is taken in by a foster family. Forty years later he leads an ordinary life: he works as a theater actor, spends time with his daughter Lizzy, and is having an affair with a married woman. He never thinks about his origins, until a stranger on a bridge whispers a single word in his ear.
