About the title
Victor owns a trendy restaurant, but business hasn't been going too well. His only hope rests on New Year's Eve, since all the tables are already booked — but then, on December 31st, the head chef walks out along with the entire kitchen team. It seems like all is lost, when Olesya, who runs a home kitchen in a town near Moscow, shows up at the restaurant. She has brought pastries that Victor had ordered from her completely by chance and had already forgotten about. Victor asks Olesya to become the head chef for New Year's Eve. She refuses — she had promised her son Kirill a New Year's fairy tale with fireworks. Victor persuades her to agree; he believes in her and knows that Olesya has a special gift for awakening people's best memories through her cooking. Will Olesya and Victor manage to pull off a true New Year's miracle: feeding all the guests extraordinary dishes and keeping the promise made to Kirill?
