About the title
Coming home from work, advertising executive Nick Beam finds his wife in bed with his boss. In an instant, his life falls apart, and he feels he has nothing left to live for and nothing left to lose. He decides to get in his car and drive wherever the road takes him, far away from home, work, and everything that might stir up painful memories. Along the way, Nick wanders into a dangerous part of town, where a guy named Terrence tries to rob him. As it later turns out, Terrence is just as much a loser as Nick — he went on the job and even forgot to load his gun. Nick realizes he has a lot in common with Terrence and decides to set off with his new partner on a wild ride.
