About the title
Ulysses arrives in a small town called Normal to temporarily take up the post of sheriff and get through a difficult period in his own life, hoping to find a calm routine and predictability. The town seems safe, almost sleepy, with everything long settled and nothing straying beyond the ordinary. But after a botched robbery at the local bank, Ulysses starts noticing strange inconsistencies, and the investigation leads him to hidden connections running far deeper than he could have imagined. It gradually becomes clear that something involving almost the entire town is hiding behind the outward order, and Ulysses must decide whether he is willing to go all the way and disrupt the fragile balance everyone here depends on. "Normal" (2025) is an action-packed thriller about the search for truth, compromises, and the price of justice. The film was directed by Ben Wheatley ("Free Fire"). The lead roles are played by Bob Odenkirk, Lena Headey, and Henry Winkler.
