About the title
When two bartender friends are denied a loan to open their own nightclub, they try to find other ways to get the money. After one such failed attempt, the local mafia gives them an ultimatum: return a hefty sum by noon the next day — or they're dead. As it happens, that very evening one of the friends has a date planned with the girl of his dreams, which he cannot possibly cancel.
