About the series
Silicon Valley pioneer Paul Leblanc made his fortune on technological innovations that changed our world, but in service of his calling he grew distant from those around him, including his own daughter Abby and his shortsighted brother Ted, who now runs Paul's company. When it turns out that one of Leblanc's high-tech AI-based gadgets, "NEXT," could doom humanity to apocalypse, Paul tries to shut down the project, but it's too late: his own brother has removed him from leadership, and now Paul doesn't know how to stop the coming catastrophe.
