About the title
A young migrant from Bishkek arrives in Yakutsk with a purpose known only to him. Without papers and a man of few words, he gazes somewhere into the distance — now inward, now straight through the people around him. He will be detained, take on menial work and get caught up in a dangerous affair, but step by step, leaving trial after trial behind him and guided by some mysterious force, he will draw closer to what he seeks. But is it what he was truly looking for?
