About the title
Emma, a medical student, gets a job as a night guard at the Institute of Forensic Medicine — the very place where a psychopathic serial killer tried to murder her parents 30 years ago. Ever since, they have been haunted by the memory of that night, and Emma too has inherited her parents' trauma. The young woman decides to find out what really happened back then. Her encounter with the criminal sets off a chain of fateful events.
