About the title
War correspondent Kate Rafter returns to her hometown after her mother's death. Suffering from PTSD and nightmares, she begins to suspect that something terrible is happening in the house next door, but those around her, including her sister, attribute it to her unstable state. The film is based on the bestselling novel of the same name by British author Nuala Ellwood.
