August 2007. Alone in a sparsely furnished penthouse overlooking Central Park, a financial analyst deeply absorbed in his work notices ominous patterns. His computer modeling program starts behaving strangely, as do the swarms of mosquitoes that have taken up residence in his apartment. This infestation compounds his psychological breakdown.
