About the series
1982. Sonya Timofeyeva, Alexei Garkusha, and Yegor Osadchy are now on their own, while ambitious Major Viktor Kovalev tries to fill the vacant post of task-force chief. Meanwhile in Moscow, a well-known variety performer and Moskontsert employee, Andrei Grinyakin, dies right during a performance. Everything suggests someone is trying to hush up the case. Sonya Timofeyeva secretly begins her own investigation. Kovalev too tries to understand what's going on at Moskontsert. It's clear the agency's underground dealings are shielded by influential people. Events unfold rapidly as, one after another, the members of Moskontsert director Olshevsky's criminal scheme start dying.
