About the title
The Great Patriotic War. Two scouts, a Georgian named Vano and a Kazakh named Bakhytzhan, come under an air raid while returning from a mission. Bakhytzhan saves Vano at the cost of his own life. At the bedside of his dying comrade, Vano swears that their children will become family. However, Vano is unable to keep his promise, and now it falls to their grandchildren to fulfill their grandfathers' oath. Vano's grandchildren, Buba and Nino, set off from Tbilisi to Almaty, unaware of the incredible adventures that await them in Kazakhstan.
