About the title
The 1950s. After divorcing her cruel husband, a young woman moves with her seven-year-old son to a remote house in the woods. The mother doesn't believe her son's fears, but soon she will have to see for herself — at night a hideous monster crawls out of a nearby pond and tries to harm her family.
