About the title
A military pilot working on a deeply classified project mysteriously disappears one day. His son, however, has caught his father's fascination with all things supernatural. Together with his ragtag friends, he sets out to explore houses haunted by ghosts, mysterious forest thickets, and gloomy caves. But the main mystery he hopes to solve is the true reason behind his father's disappearance. Monsters of California is the directorial debut of well-known American musician Tom DeLonge of the band Blink-182, in which genuinely scary scenes are mixed with simple humor, and science fiction is strangely intertwined with mysticism.
