About the series
Six months have passed since it was discovered that children's laughter generates far more energy. During this time, Monstropolis has been transformed. Laughter now rings out everywhere, the entertainment industry is booming, and the monsters go to work with far greater pleasure. After all, they're not that different from us, so naturally, now that they no longer need to scare little kids, work has become much more enjoyable. The company's prestige is also growing. More and more monsters want to work there. It also matters a great deal that many aspire to become colleagues of the real stars — Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan. The series' main character is Tylor Tuskmon. He works as a mechanic at one of the corporation's facilities, but feels that he has a different calling. He dreams of becoming a Scarer (or rather, now probably a "Laugher"), but will a simple laborer manage to break into Monstropolis's elite world? Well, the road ahead won't be easy. But fortunately, the world isn't without kind monsters (and, unfortunately, not without envious ones either).
