About the title
At the center of the story is an ordinary teenager named Tripp. He lives in a small town where life moves quietly and slowly. He's very bored in his hometown, and so Tripp dreams of getting out of it as soon as possible. The film's protagonist is great with mechanics and is even building his own monster truck. Suddenly, because of a nearby oil rig, a terrifying creature bursts out from underground, and all the local residents immediately start hunting it. The creature decides to hide from its pursuers in the protagonist's garage. Tripp meets his new friend and soon realizes they have a great deal in common…
