About the series
Yulia Zaitseva has dreamed of worldwide recognition since childhood, but roles just never seem to come her way — she's only ever offered parts in cheap soap operas. She is sincerely convinced that her talent deserves an "Oscar," but how can she get famous directors to notice her? Yulia blames her misfortunes on her hapless acting agent Misha, who has worked with her for many years and keeps trying to find her a worthwhile role.
