About the title
1957. Police officer Ed Croswell from the small town of Apalachin, New York, notices that one of the local petty criminals has suddenly started buying up large quantities of meat. Ed believes something serious is brewing in town, but his colleagues are skeptical of his claims, so he decides to investigate on his own.
