About the title
The story of fearless Moana, daughter of the chief of a small tribe on an island in the Pacific Ocean. One day, defying her father, Moana decides to cross the boundary of her native reef for the first time in her life to find Maui. According to legend, the once-mighty demigod stole the heart of the goddess Te Fiti, which is why harvests on the island are failing and fish are vanishing from the sea. Hoping to return the heart to Te Fiti and set things right, the heroine sets out on a dangerous journey, accompanied by the rooster Heihei and later by Maui. Ahead await amazing adventures and encounters with terrifying monsters. The heroes must cross the ocean to break an ancient curse.
