About the title
During a weekend trip, piano student Laura gets into a car accident in which her boyfriend dies. Though physically unhurt, the shaken girl is taken in by Betty, a local woman who witnessed the crash and begins caring for her. Life with Betty's family brings Laura comfort, but over time she starts to doubt their intentions.
