About the title
At the center of the story are two young women from a small provincial town called Gunchon, where close friends dive for valuable seaweed. A cannery is the only place where locals can earn a living, but soon the plant is forced to close. A large number of people are left out on the street with no idea where to go next or how to get out of this situation.
