About the title
Jessica, an orchid-growing specialist, comes to Colombia to look after her sister, who is in a sleep-like state. But Jessica herself is barely at peace — she is haunted by a strange sound, resembling something between an explosion and a powerful blow, which disturbs her and robs her of sleep. Trying to understand its origin, the heroine increasingly loses touch with what is normally considered reality.
