About the series
Fifty years ago, terrifying aliens attacked Earth, but giant Robomecha robots came from space to help humanity. Once a year, these robots choose cadets from an elite military academy to fight alongside them in defending Earth. A young man named Stanford Yu works as a janitor at the academy but has dreamed his whole life of becoming a Robomecha pilot. One day Stanford gets his chance when a robot from space chooses him as its pilot. The janitor is admitted to the academy, which doesn't sit well with the other students. But Stanford and the rest of the cadets will have to set aside their personal differences and work as one team to protect humanity from a new invasion of sinister aliens.
