About the title
The ancient magical Forest never let people into its mysterious depths. The people of the neighboring village kept their distance from it too — they believed the Forest was dangerous, because mysterious forest creatures lived in it. And then a miracle happened. Mavka — one of those very forest creatures, the soul of the Forest and its future queen — and Lukash, a simple village blacksmith, fell in love with each other. But their worlds went to war with one another. And it all began because of the appearance in the village of the cunning factory owner Kylyna, who built a factory next to the forest, intending to destroy it.
