About the title
When 14-year-old Masha and her brother Vanya went to their grandmother's in the countryside, she had no idea that right there, next to the dense spruce forest, fairy tales could come true. Vanya, deciding to mock the local legends, goes to a mysterious spring and turns into a baby goat. Now Masha must venture into the heart of the magical forest, solve the riddles of the Forest Spirit, outwit the Kikimora, play backgammon with a Giant, and enlist the help of three talking bears in order to bring her brother back — and to understand that the best friend isn't the hero of a fairy tale, but the person dear to her close by.
