About the title
Compulsive liar Clara and neurotic Diego attend a rehabilitation center run by psychiatrist Paris. To draw his patients into contact with the outside world, Paris first invites a group of elderly people to a cooking workshop for lunch, where Diego cooks for them, sticking faithfully to his own philosophy: he only ever prepares a single dish. Clara posts fake online reviews for a restaurant that doesn't exist, called "Monroe," and tells Diego about it. Diego decides to make the idea real, turning their cooking studio at the center into an actual restaurant, in an attempt to mend his relationship with his daughter, who is in the custody of his ex-wife.
