About the title
Teenage immigrant Marco witnesses the criminal activities of his uncle Zola, who has set up a mafia clan in Denmark. When his uncle kills a man in front of him, Marco flees, unwilling to become a criminal and remain illegally in the country forever. The boy is searched for both by his uncle's men, who must bring Marco home, and by police commissioner Carl Mørck, who is investigating the murder.
