About the title
Manyunya, Narine, and Karinka, accompanied by Ba, head off for summer vacation to a real Russian village to stay with Grandma Nastya. At first they're captivated by the unfamiliar setting, but soon enough they grow bored. Hoping to speed up the time until they go home, the girls, tipped off by local boys, seek out an old witch who supposedly grants any wish. She agrees to help, but sets her own conditions. Carrying out the witch's errands, the girls find themselves in astonishing adventures reminiscent of Russian folk tales.
