Financial difficulties and his wife Alice's unstable mental health force Dave Hayes to make a drastic decision. The whole family leaves the big city and moves to the countryside, where they will live without internet and take up farming, which is meant to help Alice recover and heal. While younger daughter Mary is enthusiastic about it, older daughter Riley is firmly against the change.
