About the series
Major Marina Pichugina of the Investigative Committee, or simply Manya (Ekaterina Kopanova), arrives from Moscow in the small town of Savelyevsk. She chose this transfer herself: this is where she spent her childhood, and where she hopes to find her father, whom she believed was dead. Colleagues are wary of Manya at first, but her determination and professionalism win them over. She's partnered with Grunya, a large, willful but very smart German shepherd. Together they untangle complex crimes while also helping each other cope with life's difficulties.
