About the title
1995. The disappearance without a trace of two girls shocks the population. While local media multiply theories about what happened, young detective Paul Chartier joins a secret investigation codenamed Maldoror. However, standard police methods seem outdated and ineffective to Paul. Against his superiors' orders, he decides to take matters into his own hands and begins hunting the maniac alone.
