About the title
A convincing answer to the fundamental question of philosophy: can a boy and a girl really just be friends? When Hannah, Tom's best friend (in ten years they've never once slept together!), leaves for a month and a half in Scotland, he realizes he'll never find anyone better than her and that he urgently needs to propose. But she comes back with a fiancé — a handsome Scotsman named Colin. Tom agrees to be her maid of honor, but still hopes the wedding can be derailed — for instance, by beating Colin at traditional Scottish games.
