About the title
The Earth we once knew has ceased to exist and turned into a lifeless wasteland. The pandemic destroyed the cities and made the planet silent. A forest and a picture book giving a glimpse of the old world — that is all eight-year-old Marco has ever seen. The only person he has ever spoken to is his father. But one day Marco meets a sweet and timid boy his own age named Miko, who is looking for his mother. Together, the boys decide to take a risk and set out on a great journey beyond the familiar and safe forest. Ahead of them lie many obstacles and a long road leading through ruined cities and empty streets.
