About the title
When Irene was 8 years old, her father was murdered right before her eyes. Over the years, she has been haunted by guilt because she cannot remember the killer's face. Irene grows into a withdrawn teenager, her only wish being to see justice done. She drops out of school and finds a job at a factory whose owner may well be the very killer she's looking for… To the surprise of them both, a feeling grows between them.
