About the title
In a hot eastern country, on the seashore, in a noisy and colorful village, there lived a girl named Mamlakat. She loved her father dearly, as well as her unfortunate brother, who had lost his mind in the war. But more than anything in the world, she loved theater. It seemed to her that actors were the most extraordinary people on earth.
