About the series
Black Harlem is torn by contradictions: on one hand, there's political will to change the troubled neighborhood; on the other, crime still rules the dark corners and alleyways. The mighty Luke Cage (Mike Colter), a man with impenetrable skin and superhuman strength, tries to keep his distance from the fights between small-time thugs and big gangsters. But when tragedy touches someone closest to him, the powerhouse challenges the local kingpin whose tentacles reach into every sphere of life — from the police to politics. Cage's advantage is that he can fight on his own terms, meaning his enemies will need weapons far more powerful than guns and brass knuckles.
