About the title
A boy named Luca spends an unforgettable vacation, filled with homemade pasta, gelato, and endless scooter rides, in a beautiful seaside town on the Italian Riviera. None of Luca's adventures happen without his new best friend, and the only thing that shadows this carefree getaway is the fact that, hidden beneath the boy's appearance, is actually a sea monster from the depths of the lagoon on whose shore the town stands.
