About the title
Seven years ago, humanity destroyed an asteroid heading toward Earth, but afterward had to face the consequences — some of Earth's creatures mutated into giant monsters. Within a year, the Earth's population had dropped by 95%. Joel lost his parents, and since then he has lived in an underground bunker together with other survivors. Recently he picked up a radio signal from another colony, where his teenage love Aimee lives, and now he has decided to reach her. It won't be easy, though, since Joel has no survival skills, and what's more — at the sight of monsters, he freezes up.
