About the series
Khabarovsk Krai. Taiga. Pavel Likhovtsev, a senior forest ranger and bear hunter, keeps an apiary in the taiga and is raising his eldest son Zhenka to be a real man. But with the arrival of the 1990s, the apiary falls into ruin. Pavel and his family are forced to go to Khabarovsk in search of a better life. Meanwhile, in the city, spheres of influence are being redivided - all power and resources are passing to the "Obshchak" organized crime group. Getting a job as a driver for Yura Krab, a former neighbor from their village and Zhenka's godfather, Pavel finds himself at the epicenter of gangland conflicts.
