About the series
Dr. Lightman believes everyone lies. And to prove it, all he needs is a couple of minutes talking to a person. Any movement, gesture, or careless word can give away a liar — you just have to know how to spot it. The average person lies three times in a ten-minute conversation. Dr. Lightman and his colleagues' task is to recognize these lies, and using their talents, they save innocent people from prison and put criminals behind bars. The Lightman Group is approached for help by federal agents, the government, Congress, and even the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan. But can a person be happy if they see that everyone around them is constantly lying?
