About the title
Felix, a 12-year-old alien from space, ends up at a children's sports camp during summer vacation. Few at the camp knew that Felix's arrival there was no accident — that just a few days earlier he had been "born" in a school laboratory, because an alien intelligence had sent a scout to Earth to study Earthlings. He is helped in this by an ordinary boy named Borya and a teacher, Alexei Palych, who teach Felix all the local customs and traditions.
