About the title
Elderly American novelist Alice Hughes has just finished a new book — a manuscript her agency hasn't even seen yet — when her agent Karen convinces her to travel to London to accept a prestigious literary prize. Alice is afraid of flying, so she books passage on a cruise liner and invites along her nephew Tyler and two old friends, Roberta and Susan. Karen also ends up aboard, hoping with Tyler's help to find out what Alice is working on.
