About the title
At the center of the story is the family of Karine and Jimmy. They have been together for twenty years, are raising two children, have plans for the future, and life generally seems stable. Karine works at a factory, and Jimmy is a truck driver trying to grow his small business. Everything changes when the "yellow vests" movement gains strength in the country. Driven by a sense of social justice, Karine gradually gets drawn into the protests. She is captivated by the energy of collective protest, anger, and hope for change. But the more actively she takes part in activism, the more the conflict with her husband intensifies. Jimmy, a more pragmatic man, watches events unfold with alarm: he no longer recognizes the woman he built a life with, and disappointment begins to overwhelm him. Not only Jimmy's business is at risk, but the family's very well-being.
