About the series
In the early 1990s, Her Majesty's Customs and Excise was losing the war against the illegal smuggling of drugs across British borders. The solution turned out to be extraordinary. As part of a top-secret operation, a small group of customs officers were sent undercover. They had to infiltrate Britain's most dangerous drug syndicates. But these were not professional spies. They were ordinary men and women, pulled from everyday life across Great Britain, who underwent accelerated training and were tasked with creating new identities for themselves in the criminal underworld. These identities were called "Legends".
