About the title
A family of four rents a luxurious house with a pool on the coast near New York for the weekend. Their relaxed getaway is marred by some strange occurrences: a huge tanker crashes straight into the beach, mobile service and internet go down, television stops working, and in the middle of the night the house's owner shows up at the door with his daughter, asking to stay the night because a massive blackout has hit New York. Something is clearly happening, but no one understands what.
