Eccentric archaeologist Christian Robinson finds a mysterious inscription during new excavations in Cairo. He is now convinced that Pharaoh Cheops's treasure was discovered during Napoleon's Egyptian campaign, brought to France, and hidden in Paris. Determined to decipher the clues left by Dominique Vivant-Denon, the Louvre's first director, Christian, along with his daughter and grandson, sets off across Paris in search of the treasure.
